Authentication

IBM StreamSets supports the following user authentication methods:
Local
Create a local account by entering an email address and password when you sign up, and use those credentials to gain access to IBM StreamSets.
Using local authentication requires no additional setup.
Single sign-on (SSO) with public identity providers, such as Google or Microsoft
Authenticate with a public identity provider, such as Google or Microsoft, to gain access to IBM StreamSets.

Using public identity provider authentication requires no additional setup.
SSO with SAML
Authenticate with your corporate SAML identity provider (IdP) to gain access to IBM StreamSets.

Using SAML authentication requires additional setup. You must register IBM StreamSets as a service provider in one of the supported IdPs, and you must configure SAML authentication for your Control Hub organization.
