Origins, Destinations, and Executors Overview

Transformer for Snowflake provides the following origins, destinations, and executors that you can use in Snowflake pipelines:

Origins

Use the following origins to define the data that the pipeline reads:

• Snowflake Query origin - Reads data from Snowflake based on a SQL query.
• Snowflake Table origin - Reads data from a Snowflake table.

Destinations

Use the following destinations to define the data that the pipeline writes or the tasks the pipeline performs:

• Snowflake Table destination - Writes data to a Snowflake table.
• Snowflake View destination - Creates a Snowflake view.
• Trash destination - Discards all incoming rows.

Executor

Use the following executor to perform an action after pipeline writes are complete:

• Snowflake Notification executor - Sends an email based on a condition after all pipeline writes are complete.
