The Operations Dashboard provides a summary of triggered alerts, jobs with errors, offline execution engines, and unhealthy engines that have exceeded their resource thresholds. Use the dashboard to monitor and troubleshoot jobs.
The Topologies Dashboard provides a summary of the number of pipelines, jobs, topologies, and execution engines that you have access to. If you have the Organization Administrator role, the dashboard also lists the number of users in your organization. The dashboard also displays the record count diagram for each topology.
By default, events are enabled for organizations. An organization administrator can disable events to trigger subscriptions for the organization.
A subscription is triggered by a Control Hub event. You can create a subscription for a single event type.
After an event triggers a subscription, the subscription performs an action - such as using a webhook to send an HTTP request to an external system or sending an email.
Create a subscription to listen for Control Hub events and then complete an action when those events occur.
If a subscription doesn't complete the expected action, your organization administrator can view the subscription audit entries to help troubleshoot the issue.
Alerts include data SLA and pipeline alerts that have been triggered and error messages that have briefly displayed in the UI. You can view both triggered alerts and a history of error messages when you click the Alerts icon. You can view details about triggered alerts by clicking Monitor > Alerts in the Navigation panel.
