Technology Preview Functionality

Data Collector includes certain new features and stage with the Technology Preview designation. Technology Preview functionality is available for use in development and testing, but is not meant for use in production.

When Technology Preview functionality becomes approved for use in production, the release notes and documentation reflect the change, and the Technology Preview designation is removed from the UI.

Currently, Data Collector includes the following Technology Preview stages:

Oracle destination - The Oracle destination writes data to tables in an Oracle database.
Teradata destination - The Teradata destination writes data to one or more tables in a Teradata database.
Web Client origin - The Web Client origin reads data from an HTTP endpoint.
Web Client processor - The Web Client processor sends requests to an HTTP endpoint and writes responses to records.
Web Client destination - The Web Client destination writes data to an HTTP endpoint.
