Overview

When you create a connection, you select the connection type. The connection type determines the configuration properties required to connect to the external system. You cannot change the connection type after you save a connection.

When you configure pipeline and pipeline fragments, Control Hub allows you to select available connections of the appropriate type. For example, when you configure an Amazon S3 origin or destination, you can select available Amazon S3 connections. You cannot select Amazon Kinesis Streams connections or JDBC connections.
