Run Data Collector from Docker

You can run the Data Collector image from Docker Hub in the following ways:

Enterprise account

Users with an enterprise account typically register the Data Collector image with Control Hub and use Control Hub authentication to access the Data Collector image.

If the Data Collector image is not registered with Control Hub, you can configure Data Collector to use a different authentication method. Using a different authentication method requires providing an activation code.

DataOps Platform

Users without an enterprise account can create a free account for StreamSets DataOps Platform, then create a self-managed deployment and use it to manage a Data Collector image.
